Vintage Motorcycle Restoration
From historic rebuilds to creating a cafe racer, I specialize in vintage restoration of British and Japanese motorcycles, pre 1983. All work is carefully handcrafted in my Hudson River design studio. Drawing on my career experiences as a motocross racer, mechanic and visual artist, I bring unique design expertise and extensive knowledge of vintage motorcycles and their history. Services include engine rebuilds, custom metal work, tank modification, custom parts and accessories and and complete historic restorations. My work comes with a commitment to excellence and a reverence for the history of motorcycle sport.
All estimates are free and flexible according to materials and scheduling.
I’ll bring my expertise as a mechanic and designer, along with a breadth of historic knowledge to all projects. I never compromise and give my clients realistic schedules for project completion and clear estimates. I strive for excellent customer service, and finished work created with integrity.
At the age of 13, I managed to get my hands on my first motorcycle, an old Indian Chief. Somehow I got that thing up and running and endlessly raced it up and down the beach in Bridgeport, CT. There, my love of motorcycles and motorsport was born. Since then, I have raced professionally, owned and restored hundreds of motorcycles and developed a successful career as a sculptor. Dan Devine Motoworks brings together my passion for British and Japanese vintage motorcycles, years of mechanical and fabrication experience, a love of history and my design sensibility as a visual artist. I look forward to meeting you and your project.
